Flooring Queensland is based in Darra and offers a variety of products and services throughout South East Queensland.  We mainly deal with Australian Species flooring that are available in both solid strip and engineered; Flooring Queensland also has a range of Australian Species in decking boards that can match most flooring colours.  Although we mainly deal with local species, we are able to source imported products as required.

Flooring Queensland started in 2004 with the aim of providing quality products at competitive pricing.  As A Wood Shed was building the customer base and products through competitive pricing and expert knowledge, the opportunity was taken to further use that knowledge and move into the flooring industry.  With a combined base of over 80 years of knowledge in the building and timber industry, the prospect was too good to pass up.  Starting up a specialised flooring company we were able to source and stock products allowing us to be able to provide the best possible price to builders and flooring installers.

As the business grew a further opportunity was seen and a 150m2 show room was designed and installed at the Darra premises of A Wood Shed. The show room provides examples of over 20 different species or grades across many of the most popular products.

As the company grows we aim to continue to provide customers with competitive pricing and products.  We further aim to source materials direct from the mills from Tasmania to Far North Queensland to keep costs as low as possible.
